Things You Might Want to Know About Memorial Jewellery
Making the decision to have custom memorial jewellery made shouldn’t be taken lightly – after all, you are having something made you want to treasure forever. However, when you feel ready, it is an excellent way for you to keep a lost loved one close. Many people find a sense of comfort when wearing their custom-made piece of jewellery and it could be exactly the thing you need to help you through the grieving process.
That being said, there are a few things you might want to know before making the decision to have your special piece made.
Do you have to use ashes?
Although traditionally memorial jewellery is created out of ashes, this isn’t the only option available to you. Whether you aren’t keen on using ashes, or you have already spread them in a special place, you can still have custom memorial jewellery created. By using an item of clothing, a lock of hair, or a number of other materials you might have access to, you can still have your perfect piece created for you.
However, if you are looking to use ashes, but are a bit worried about sending them – don’t worry! You only need a teaspoonful of ashes, which will be sent to us via recorded delivery and guaranteed to be kept safe throughout the whole process.
Are only necklaces available?
Looking for a piece of memorial jewellery, but not a fan of necklaces? That is absolutely fine, there are a number of different pieces available to you including rings, bracelets, pendants, charms and earrings. Both male and female pieces are available too, upon request. You can take a look at our jewellery catalogue to see if there is anything you like the look of.
How long does it take to create?
Obviously, every company will have a different estimated creation and delivery time. However, here at EverWith, typically a piece will be returned to you within seven working days once your package is received. There are, however, exceptions to this. For example, if you are ordering a piece of jewellery that isn’t in stock, or are looking to have a gold piece created, we recommend you allow up to 6 weeks for creation. If you are ever concerned at any point, we are always on hand to ask any questions you might have about the process.
Is the jewellery in safe hands?
When deciding to have memorial jewellery created, we understand you are putting a lot of trust into a company. The creation of such jewellery is delicate, detailed and personal, which is why each piece is only handled by extremely experienced craftspeople.
